Cookie Policy
What cookies we use, why, and how you stay in control of them.
Last updated: 8 June 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. Similar technologies (like localStorage) work the same way. We use them sparingly and group them into clear categories.
2. The categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the Site to work (security, routing, and remembering your cookie choice). These are always on and need no consent.
- Analytics — optional, privacy-respecting, aggregate measurement of how the Site is used. Loaded only if you allow it.
- Preferences — optional, remembers choices such as theme or language. Loaded only if you allow it.
3. What we actually set today
By default the Site sets one strictly necessary item: kerdos_consent, which stores your cookie choices for up to 180 days so we do not ask on every visit. We load no analytics or preference cookies unless and until you opt in.
If we enable an analytics provider in future, it will appear in the preferences tool first, and only run with your consent.
4. Managing your choices
You can change your choices any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which reopens the preferences tool. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary items may break parts of the Site.
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends it.
5. Changes and contact
If our cookie use changes, we update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again. Contact: privacy@kerdosanalytics.ng.
